Karzhan is the first Dimension in the Dimensional Hole, where each dungeon has its unique entrance condition and two or more of the same monster cannot enter to battle.
Karzhan is divided into two areas, the Karzhan Remains where you second awaken your Inugamis, Warbears and Griffons, and Forest of Roaring Beasts where you can farm Rage, Energy, Blade, Endure and Nemesis Ancient Runes, Ancient Enchanted Gems and Ancient Grindstones.
The condition for entering Karzhan is that you will be limited to using only default 4-star or lower monsters.
As in every Dimensional dungeon, 1 Dimension Hole Energy will be consumed to enter a battle. You will have the opportunity to test your teams by checking the Test Mode where no Dimensional Hole Energy will be used and no reward will be received.

In order to second awaken an Inugami, Warbear or Griffon you must have them fight on your team in the Karzhan Remains along with three other monsters. Since Karzhan restricts the team to default 4-stars and lower monsters, you will need to build a team without natural 5 stars monsters. In addition, the monster you want to 2nd awaken must also have max level and skill to complete the second awakening.
If you don’t have good runes you will most likely need to level up and equip runes on the monster you’re trying to second awaken.
Attack Bar reduction and Attack Bar increase are both very strong here, you’ll need to make sure your team is not squishy, otherwise they will die in waves or from the tower damage on the boss stage. Other than that, you just want as much attack bar control and damage as possible to take the boss down before it gets a turn.

Safe Team Examples:
Attack Order: If you have good enough runes you should be able to go straight for the boss and ignore the side towers. If your runes aren't good enough you should kill the left tower first and then the boss.
Attack Bar reduction and Attack Bar increase are both very strong here, it is also very good to have strip and/or silence to prevent the boss from using counter attack.

For this dungeon it would be very useful to have attack bar manipulation, Attack Break and shield or immunity.
Immunity is good to prevent your healers from being stunned so they can keep your team alive. For example, Khmun is great here because even if your healers are stunned, his shield passive will prevent your monsters from dying. Belladeon is arguably the best healer for this dungeon because you can use him to tank the waves and the boss since the rest of your team will probably be fire element and he provides defense break, healing, and Attack Bar increase.
The thing to note about this dungeon is that it’s much harder than the awakening dungeons and we highly recommend using Belladeon and Khmun as they are two of the best monsters for this dungeon.
